RCM Violin Technique, Etudes, and Musicianship Levels 3-4

The second of three Technique, Etudes, and Musicianship books in The Royal Conservatory's Violin Series, 2021 Edition, covering Levels 3 and 4. Building on the previous levels, it introduces new keys, expands finger patterns, and encourages skill development.

Etudes are arranged in both solo and duet forms, giving students chamber music experience, and commissioned character pieces target specific technical challenges. Sight reading builds understanding of tonality, rhythmic subdivisions, time signatures, and key signatures, and ear training focuses on interval and chord identification, clapbacks, and playbacks in major and minor keys.
